The Most Perfect Boutique Ever

I think I have found the most perfect boutique ever. Unfortunately it is exactly 334 miles from my house (maybe better for the bank account)!  Ann Mashburn in Atlanta is what you get when a former Vogue fashion assistant, Glamour editor and J Crew stylist opens her own store. Between a business trip for my husband and a lacrosse game for my son I have gotten to visit this little jewel twice within the last 6 months. First of all it's just a beautiful store. Crisp white walls and seagrass rugs provide the perfect backdrop for the classic and timeless pieces found here. I love, love my lavender and white seersucker Daisy Tail Shirt that I picked up on my first trip. You can totally rock this preppy top with a pair of skinny jeans and ankle boots!  If you're a huge K Jacques fan like me you will find a great selection here. I'm also in love with their brown suede Chelsea Ankle Boots. Definitely a splurge but also an investment. I could go on and on - Saint James striped tops, Liberty Print Track shorts, leather cuffs and this white leather shift dress.

Luckily if you can't get to Atlanta anytime soon you can shop away on the website which offers free shipping on all US web orders. I've got my eye on the Ann Mashburn Tulip Top in black grosgrain. Ann's darling daughter was wearing it in the store on my last visit with dark skinny jeans and flats and it was adorable! The well dressed guys in your life can also shop at Sid Mashburn. Though I'm sure they don't want to admit it, my husband and son are pretty smitten.

The Denim Skirt

I can't possibly be a blogger if I post once every few months. I will try to be more inspired! When something catches my attention though I must write! I did not expect these to be on the radar anytime soon but then again the fashion gods like to keep us on our toes. Denim skirts are back and the best I've seen are faded, distressed and fall just above-the-knee. I found some great street style pics that I think nail this look perfectly. Enjoy!

Move Over Lululemon

I am absolutely loving Fabletics, the new line of athletic apparel co-founded by Kate Hudson! I couldn't imagine that the quality could possibly be so good for the price but I am quite impressed. I recently ordered the Lima Capri in camo and the Eureka long sleeve top in black. I can't wait to place my next order!!

Finally it's cold! I love to dress up a little more than usual this time of year even if it's just lunch with girlfriends or dinner with the hubby. It's always easy to start with a great pair of skinny black jeans and go from there. My personal favorite is the Shoreditch legging by Rag and Bone.

Her collection came onto my radar early this spring when I started seeing a few of her pieces in the Los Angeles boutique Madison.  Not only is Anine a designer, she's also a mom, model and member of the band Kill Your Darlings.  Her collection consists of skinny jeans, leather jackets, linen t-shirts, a simple leather tote and the most gorgeous studded booties.
